Margin Buying/Short Selling
Our margin buying/short selling services will extend credit of up to 75% of the cash value of the buy order, or lend the necessary securities in the case of sell orders.
Subcustody
Investment firms that perform custodian functions can obtain operational support in order to provide a fully automated comprehensive service. Clients can benefit from direct access to the main securities markets without being members of the settlement and clearing systems.
Authorised Iberclear Affiliated Entity
By contracting with RBC Investor Services to provide certain Iberclear functions, financial institutions can bypass technical tests required to attain status as an affiliated entity. These functions include, for example, dealings with Iberclear, record keeping and the exercise of rights and obligations, except those deriving from cash settlements.
Non-registered Funds
RBC Investor Services offers trade operational support in non-registered funds and hedge funds.
Clearing
We provide clearing and settlement of transactions for non-resident clients of a financial entity, independent of the custodian bank where the deposit accounts are held.
Agent Bank
RBC Investor Services acts as an Agent Bank, offering issuers of securities quoted on any market the agency services necessary for handling financial operations (for example, capital increases, exchanges, public offerings, issues), and the exercise of voting and financial rights.
Link Entity
This service is offered to Latin American clients interested in registering their securities in LATIBEX, including specialist and link entity services.
Technical Support for portfolios
RBC Investor Services offers administration platforms that integrate the requirements of the different departments of the entity into a single operating tool.
Technical Support for CIV
We provide coverage of the administration requirements, delivering maximum efficiency and automation of processes.
On-line Banking
Our internet banking service allows clients to consult their balances and movements and execute transactions in their accounts.
Credit Products
We offer a variety of credit products secured by financial assets.
Savings and Deposit Products
These accounts can be used for direct debiting, issuing charges to other entities, making and receiving transfers, requesting cheques on the account, bank cheques and certified cashier''s cheques. Debit cards may also be associated with these accounts.
